Traditional Hog Roast and other Roasts
The whole, roasted Hog in all its crispy crackling covered, melt in the mouth glory!
Our basic package consists of a whole Hog, dusted with one of our speciality flavoured salts or rubs to create unbelievable Crackling, and slow roasted for a minimum of 12 hours in a Hog oven to produce succulent, fall off the bone meat. Perfect for pulling and serving with one of our choices of locally produced sauces.
It’s not just Hogs on the menu … If you fancy an alternative to Pork, or a second meat at your event, how about:
- Whole Chickens, plain or flavoured with a rub then spit roasted up to 50 at a time.
- Whole Lamb, plain or studded with Rosemary and Garlic and flavoured with a rub.
- Whole Turkeys, spit roasted up to 25 at a time if you really like Turkey!
- Rump British Beef Joints, spit roasted to your preference.
- Honey roasted Gammon or Ham Joints.

Our service ... with a smile
You get a fully trained, qualified and insured Chef with assistant who unless arranged otherwise, will arrive and set up 1 to 2 hours before serve time (we will already have conducted our risk assessment with you by phone and if necessary will arrive a lot earlier). The assistant will then set up as planned with everything needed to serve, while the Chef prepares your food.
We use high quality, rigid small compostable plates and napkins if you are just having the sandwich style option.
If you opt for salads and/or spuds too we bring larger compostable bamboo plates with wooden cutlery.
If you want to get even posher, we can serve on china plates with stainless steel cutlery.
